Ecclesiastes 9: 17-18
"The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools. Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good."
Scripture tells us that wisdom is greater than strength and carries with it much power. How do we gain this wisdom?
Proverbs 9: 10
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
Let us seek after wisdom by fearing the Lord, walking according to His ways, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us every step of the way.
Surrendering to God means making a willful decision each day to abandon the ways of the world, resist the desires of our flesh, and to walk in the Spirit in accordance with God's Word.
We should desire the things of God and keep our eye's fixed upon Christ. This will help us surrender to the Holy Spirit and thus allow us to bear fruit.
