Proverbs 28: 6
"Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich."
Proverbs 28: 14
"Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief."
True wealth is found in the Lord and our relationship with Him. Seeking after God and His ways will help to ensure that we are walking the narrow path that leads to life described by Jesus.
If our focus and our intentions are on worldly things, our hearts will fail us during trouble and we will have no confidence. However, if we are faithful to the Lord, walk in love according to His truth, and desire Him in everything we do, we will never be shaken for the Lord is faithful.
The more I live in God and with God the more He floods me with abundance and favor! And the more that happens, the more I see that All riches come only from Him and the material world doesn’t matter…but is a trap to keep us away from Him!
