Proverbs 9: 9-10
"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
The book of Proverbs speaks a lot about wisdom and the source of wisdom. True wisdom comes from a fear of the Lord and reverence for Him.
Worldly wisdom becomes tarnished, does not endure sound teaching, and is at the mercy of popular opinion and groupthink. What is considered wise today may not be accepted as wise or fruitful tomorrow depending upon society, etc.
We know, however, that truth and wisdom from God endures because it has been established by Him. One cannot become truly wise apart from the Lord and the leading of His spirit.
Amen! His Truth is the only Truth…everything created by men is inherently flawed as it’s based on men’s truth, not God’s. And then men sits in judgement and imposes flawed truths upon others with arrogance and self pride.
