Hey everybody! My first post on here. I wanted to share that quote by John Calvin (he was like a Navy Seal of theologians back in his day 😁) because it reminded me of a lesson I learned from Psalm 46 that whatever circumstances come into our lives as Christians (good or bad) we can rest in knowing that they have passed through God‘s fingers first , He either sent or allowed them past his hedge of protection over us for a reason. Romans 8:38 tells us that God causes all things to work together for good for those that love him and are called according to His purpose. So whatever we may face in life I hope and pray we may have this perspective fresh in our minds as we seek to grow in our walk with God even if that growing hurts! Have a blessed weekend everyone!
